SENA Device Servers can be used to add network connectivity to serial
devices. These Device Servers offer 1,
2,
4,
8, and
16 serial ports to connect
a variety of serial devices including medical devices, retail and
point-of-sale terminals, and industrial or business automation equipment.
The serial ports use standard RJ45 connectors or DB-9 connectors for
convenient cabling and optional adapters are available as well.

SENA Device Servers offer advanced hardware features to meet the
requirements of even the most demanding IT applications. PCMCIA slots allow
for enhanced functionality with support for many interface cards, such as
modem (V.92 and ISDN), Ethernet, fast Ethernet, and wireless LAN and Flash
memory data storage. SENA Device Servers also allow for automatic Ethernet
failover by using a PCMCIA slot as a second Ethernet port, hence providing
Ethernet redundancy.
